The tiny hamlet of Binbona nestles sleepily in the foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana in the north-West of the island. The Hotel and Restaurant Can Furios is found in a converted 16th century village house. Surprisingly large, considering its small exterior and antique arched doorway, the Hotel opens out to gardens, terraces and an inviting pool with lovely views over the rolling countryside. A walkers paradise where peace and tranquility abound, interrupted by the occasional sound of tinkling sheeps bells. The owners, an Anglo/Spanish couple, Adrian and Susy have been in the restaurant business all their lives. On retiring from the UK they found their piece of paradise in Binibona. It is a No Smoking, No Children Hotel and the emphasis is very much on peace and quiet except when pre-dinner drinks are seved when guests are encouraged to mingle and exchange notes on their day.

The gardens and shaded terraces are lovingly tended by Suzy, resulting in a blaze of colour so typical of Mediterranean plants.

The four Suites and three bedrooms are spacious and fully equipped with heating/Air Con; Satellite TV; minibar; safe and Wi-Fi Internet access, bathrobes etc. All the Suites have terraces and the Bridal suite has its own garden and terrace. Some of the rooms have a decidedly chintzy English feel, others a more Mediterranean look.

The beautifully decorated reataurant is situated in the old olive pressing room and was recently acknowledged as one of the top ten in Mallorca. Breakfasts are served at your leisure along with light lunches. Dinner is a more formal affair with the reaturant open to the public. Hotel residents take priority. Mediterranean fayre is served and freshly caught fish. The fruit, vegetables and herbs are grown in the Hotel garden. Vegetarians are catered for to an equally high standard. When the weather permits, meals can be served outside on a covered terrace overlooking the gardens. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

An ideal Hotel for those who want a realaxing get away from it all holiday in th country. The nearby town of Inca is famed for its leather goods and large Thursday market every Thursday.
