As a former Director and a Receptionist of one of the world’s leading Boutique Hotels, we know a thing or two about what makes a hotel stand out in the crowd. We are based in Spain, and have a passion for all things Spanish. It is a country we have both made our home – Michael for 17 years, and Laura for 5 years with her Spanish husband, Jorge.  With this in mind, we bring to you our selection of “Amazing Hotels” in Spain. These are now joined by a stunning collection of boutique hotels in Morocco and Portugal which we have had the enormous pleasure of visiting. We will also be including a few “gems” that we have had the pleasure of staying in outside of Europe.

Our policy: To provide an exceptional level of personal service unrivalled by other websites, having researched, personally inspected (and that does not mean 5 years ago!) and reviewed our “Amazing Hotels”.

Our Service: We will make the booking on your behalf providing you with an emailed confirmation and reservation number, contact details for the Hotel and directions of how to find it – all this without the hassle of language barriers. Unlike other websites, as we are based in Spain, we have legally binding, signed contracts with the Hotels in all countries we feature. Your reservation is with us, and, consequently, you are not on your own when staying in one of our hotels.

Our office is open 7 days a week and we are at your disposal throughout your holiday – and of course, before and after!! We are NOT a website that makes your booking and then deserts you!

Our ever-growing and faithful clientele bear witness to our knowledge and understanding of the industry. You will receive the same price as you would by booking directly with the hotel. Unlike many other websites, boutique hotels cannot buy themselves onto anamazinghotel.com. In our previous employment we were staggered by the number of websites that, for an annual fee, would promote our hotel without even visiting us. Hotels must be invited to join us, they are inspected regularly and should receive excellent client feedback, which, in turn, help us to decide our annual awards.

Our criteria for selection are demanding and hotels must fulfil many of the criteria below – some exceptional hotels fulfil them all!

• No hotels over 30 bedrooms (except in a few circumstances where we believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of a larger hotel; this applies especially to the larger Cities where small boutique Hotels are few and far between)
